China Guarantees Iran Oil Tankers Transportation

Beijing, May 2, IRNA - Managing Director of Chinese Shipping Association Jang Chogo announced on Tuesday it guarantees the transportation of Iranian oil tankers. He said the association does not let US and EU unilateral ban on Iran oil affect negatively China’s energy imports which started in 1993. He said the association has cautioned all state organizations not to let Chinese companies be the looser of oil embargo, Jang added. He said China is a big importer of oil especially from Iran, therefore Chinese ministries of finance and transportation, Chinese commission of development and reforms and insurance companies are to insure and guarantee transportation of Iranian oil tankers./end
