Turkey & Azerbaijan to sign MoU on Trans Anatolia Natural Gas Pipeline on Monday

ANKARA (A.A) - December 25, 2011 - Turkey and Azerbaijan will sign a memorandum of understanding on the Trans Anatolia Natural Gas Pipeline on Monday. The pipeline involves the sale of Azerbaijani natural gas to Turkey and to European markets. Turkish Energy and Natural Resources Minister Taner Yildiz and Azerbaijani Minister of Industry and Energy Natiq Aliyev will sign the memorandum of understanding. Turkey and Azerbaijan plan to begin constructing the pipeline as soon as possible.
