U.S , Australia And UK Main Market For Bali's Garments

Denpasar, Bali, July 1 (Antara) - Bali`s garment exports remain promising as a result of its success in creating unique and attractive designs with the United States, Australia, and United Kingdom as its three main markets, noted a local businesswoman. The Americans were the biggest buyers of Bali`s garments followed by those from Australia and the United Kingdom, Ni Made Wardani stated here Tuesday. The American buyers absorbed almost 25 percent of the resort island`s total garment export volumes, while the Australian and British markets respectively received 12.48 and 10 percent, she added. "We also have several buyers in Europe and Asia such as France, Germany, the Netherlands, Japan, and Singapore," Wardani remarked. According to the Bali Trade and Industrial service, the province`s garment exports have contributed US$35.4 million to its income for the period between January and March 2014.
