We expect legal arrangement on purchase of real estate by foreigners in Turkey in January, says Economy Minister Caglayan

RIYADH (A.A) - December 25, 2011 - Turkish Economy Minister Zafer Caglayan said Sunday that they expected a legal arrangement on the purchase of real estate by foreigners, including Saudi Arabian businesspeople, in Turkey in January. Speaking to Turkish reporters in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Caglayan said that Saudi Arabia was one of the priorities of the Turkish economy. Our food exports to Saudi Arabia are not sufficient. We are seeking ways to increase Turkish exports of food items to Saudi Arabia, Caglayan said. Touching on the economic crisis in Europe, Caglayan said that 1.6 million companies in Europe are about to go bankrupt. Many Turkish businesspeople are eager to buy these European companies. Our government will provide a credit of 200,000 USD to Turkish businesspeople willing to buy European companies, Caglayan also said.
