Art Students Paint Pictures of Late King
BANGKOK, Oct 22 (TNA) - Over 100 art students in the northeastern province of Nakhon Ratchasima draw 29-meters-long painting depicting lifelong works of King Bhumibol Adulyadej.
Students of Nakhon Ratchasima Rajabhat University’s art program created the paintings of the much-revered monarch, placed at the university entrance. As passing by, people pay tribute to King Bhumibol who passed away on Thursday.
Depicting the King in most recognized moments, the paintings illustrate His Majesty as musician, rower and photographer while going on field trips.The portraits show how King Bhumibol Adulyadej had interacted with the people through arts and music.
Earlier, students at Silpakorn University which is located just across the street from the Grand Palace in Bangkok have also created 10 sepia-toned paintings themed “the Great Artist.” (TNA)
