Education And Culture Minister Launches New Curriculum 2013
Bengkulu, June 19 (Antara) - Minister of Education and Culture Muhammad Nuh launched new National Education Curriculum 2013 here on Wednesday.
"The new curriculum will give the time for teachers to teach their students effectively," Muhammad Nuh said.
According to him, the National Curriculum 2013 is integrated into its mindset format, content and process.
"The new curriculum gives priority to students creativity than their intelligence. Previously, the 2006 Curriculum prioritized the intelligence," he said.
The new curriculum has been implemented in several schools of ex-international-standard school pilot projects (RSBI).
On the sidelines of the event, the minister also discussed with some college students from the University of Bengkulu.
Bengkulu Governor Junaidi Hamsyah said the study process has been upgraded. The curriculum has been targeted for students to build good manners.
"By the new curriculum, we hope the students not only be smart in cognitive aspect but also in affection such as their good manners.
