Amano’s Report On Iran, Not Tokyo's Official Stand: Japan Envoy

Tehran, Nov 14, IRNA – Japanese Ambassador to Tehran Kinichi Komano said that the recent anti-Iran report released by the IAEA chief, Yukiya Amano, is not Tokyo’s official stand. Talking to IRNA, he reiterated that Tokyo’s official stand regarding the Islamic Republic of Iran’s nuclear program will be announced by Japanese officials at an appropriate time. The Japanese envoy stressed that mutual confidence will help resolve Iran’s nuclear issue. He said both Iran and Japan enjoy rich and historical civilizations and cultures./end
