Bahraini FM: Manama Happy With Iran’s Presidency Over NAM

Tehran, Aug 28, IRNA – Bahraini Foreign Minister Khalid ibn Ahmad Al Khalifa expressed happiness over the handing over of the Non-Aligned Movement presidency to Iran. In an exclusive interview with IRNA on Tuesday, the foreign minister said his country was very optimistic about Iran’s presidency over the organization. Pointing to his trip to Iran two years ago, he said then he realized Iran’s supreme position. Asked to comment on blown up cars of Iran’s martyred nuclear scientists which are put on display at the sideline of the meeting, he said he was sad about the terrorist acts which resulted in their martyrdom. Egypt is to hand over NAM presidency to Iran on Thursday./end
