Beirut To Host 1st Session Of Iran-Lebanon High Commission

Beirut, April 29, IRNA – Iranian ambassador to Lebanon here on Sunday announced that Beirut is to host the first session of Iran-Lebanon High Commission for Joint Cooperation this week.
Talking to IRNA, Ghazanfar Roknabadi stressed that Iran's First Vice President Mohammad-Reza Rahimi and Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati would lead the meeting.
The Iranian envoy underlined that this is the first such meeting in the history of bilateral relations between the two brotherly nations.
Rahimi, heading a high-ranking delegation, is to arrive in Beirut on Wednesday (May 2).
During his stay, the Iranian vice president would hold talks with Lebanese president, prime minister and parliament speaker./end
