FM L.Bold works in Altanbulag soum

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Minister of Foreign Affairs L.Bold Monday visited Selenge aimag’s Altanbulag soum to witness a work of Altanbulag-Kyakhta border checkpoint between Mongolia and Russia. Mr Bold and the aimag’s authorities and border officials focused on ensuring of a preparation for reaching a principal agreement with the Russian side on transmitting this checkpoint into 24-hour regime. Then the Minister got familiarized at Khyakhta border checkpoint (Russia) with a design of auto roads that will be run between border checkpoints in frames of the extension. It is considered that the 24-hours border checkpoint will not only contribute to the Mongolia-Russia trade and economic cooperation but also will improve conditions for businessmen near the borders.
