Iran Culture Min. : US, West's Blaspheming Divine Religions With Pretext Of Freedom Of Speech

Tehran, Oct 22, IRNA -- Minister of Culture and the Islamic Guidance Mohammad Hosseini said on Sunday that the US, the Westerners and the Zionist regime are blaspheming divine religions with the pretext of freedom of speech. He made the remarks in a gathering of members of Tehran province Mosques cannons and students condemning the sacrilegious film produced by the US-Israeli entity against Holy Prophet Mohammad (PBUH). Hosseini said the Zionist regime and the US revealed their revenge on Great Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) and proved that they are against divinity, monotheism and Islam. "They ignored and wounded the sentiments of one and half a billion Muslims and committed such an ugly and malicious action with the pretext of freedom of speech," he added. Pointing to making "Argo" film by Hollywood companies, the culture minister said the filmmakers aimed to justify and depict the US nation as a oppressed nation when spying in Iran at their embassy in Tehran. Hosseini said the western filmmakers neglect human principles and morality and use art and digital softwares to make such an anti-Iran film as "300" to stir up Islamophobia among different communities and depict a warmongering image out of Muslims./end
