Iran VP Felicitates Algeria National Day

Tehran, June 30, IRNA – Iran's 1st VP Mohammad-Reza Rahimi, in a message on Sunday, congratulated Algerian Prime Minister Abdelmalek Sellal on the occasion of the countryˈs National Day. Algeria gained its independence on July 3, 1962 from France after 132 years and after nearly a decade of war by the countryˈs National Liberation Front (FLN) against French rulers. Referring to the commonalities shared by the two major revolutions in the Muslim countries of Iran and Algeria, Rahimi expressed hope that cordial ties between both nations would further promote in all fields.
