Jordan’s High-ranking Delegation To Attend NAM Meeting In Tehran

Damascus, July 9, IRNA -- Jordan’s Prime Minister Fayez al-Tarawneh said that a high-ranking delegation from Jordan will arrive in Tehran to attend the upcoming summit of Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) in the Iranian capital. Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister for Arab and African Affairs Hossein Amir Abdollahian arrived in Amman, Jordan, Sunday to review issues of mutual interests with Jordanian officials. The Iranian envoy submitted a message from President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad (addressing Jordan's King Abdullah) to Prime Minister Fayez al-Tarawneh, inviting him to attend the 16th NAM Summit meeting to be held in Tehran late summer. King Abdullah is currently in Paris. During the NAM meeting, Iran is to receive the next rotating presidency of the movement for three years./end
