Khazaee: UN Chief Presence In NAM Summit Indicates Its Importance

Tehran, Aug 29, IRNA – Iran’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations Mohammad Khazaee said the presence of the United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon in the 16th Non-Aligned Movement Summit in Tehran indicates its important and key role in international arena. He made the remarks while talking to reporters at Imam Khomeini International Airport prior to arrival of the UN chief to Tehran for the NAM Summit. He noted that the UN chief will also meet with a number of high-ranking Iranian officials during his stay in Tehran to discuss issues of mutual interest. Khazaee said that Mr Ban will stay in Tehran for at least two days./end
