Majlis Urges 5+1 To Change Hostile Approach Against Iran

Tehran, May 21, IRNA – The Islamic Consultative Assembly (Majlis) in a statement on Sunday called on 5+1 to change hostile attitude towards Tehran and pursue interaction instead.
Supporting Iran's nuclear stands during Baghdad talks, the MPs said now it is the West's turn to build confidence.
The statement said the US and its western allies exerted several pressures on Iran in the past twenty years although Iran has always fulfilled all its commitments regarding the Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT).
The statement further urged the Group 5+1 - the US, Britain, France, China and Russia plus Germany - to respect the Iranian nation's legitimate rights.
It also advised the sextet to make decisions far from the Zionists' pressures.
The MPs, in the statement, asked Iran's nuclear negotiators to defend the country's rights in the Baghdad talks, saying the era of double-standards is over./end
