Pakistani Media Widely Cover Supreme Leader's Statement

Islamabad, Nov. 11, IRNA – All Pakistani dailies on Friday gave wide coverage to the statement of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, in which has vowed to give befitting response to any foreign aggression.
Pakistani newspapers also published the picture of the Supreme Leader’s visit to a Tehran military college.
“Iran 'will respond with full force' to any military threat,” The Express Tribune headlined the statement of the Supreme Leader.
The daily quoted the Supreme Leader as saying that Iran “will respond with full force” to any attack, or even any threat of military action.
The Dawn newspaper headline says that Iran’s Khamenei warns the US and Israel against attack.
It reported ‘Iran’s Supreme Leader warned the United States and Israel on Thursday not to launch any military action against its nuclear sites, saying it would be met with “iron fists.”
“Our enemies, particularly the Zionist regime (Israel), America and its allies, should know that any kind of threat and attack will be firmly responded,” the daily said.
Another largely circulated daily The News headlined, ‘Khamenei vows to repel any attack’.
“Iran will hit back against any attack or even threat of military action, the country’s Supreme Leader said on Thursday after Israel warned the world must act to prevent Tehran getting nuclear weapons,” the newspaper said.
Daily The Nation said in its headline “Iran ‘will respond with full force’ to any military threat”.
Daily Times said, “Ayatollah Ali Khamenei warns US, Israel against attack”
The daily said that the Supreme Leader’s forceful language followed threats last week from Israel that airstrikes could be in the offing against Iran’s nuclear sites.
The Business Recorder newspaper also carried the story, “Iran 'will respond with full force' to any military threat”.
All Pakistani TV channels also gave coverage to the statement of the Supreme Leader and some gave it as breaking news when the statement was circulated by Iranian and foreign wire services.
All Urdu language dailies in Pakistan also published the statement with his photograph./end
