President Carrying Iranians Message Of Peace

Tehran, Sept 24, IRNA – President Hassan Rohani, currently in New York, is carrying peace message of the Iranian nation to the world, Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Marziyeh Afkham said Tuesday. Speaking to reporters at her weekly press conference, first female spokesperson of Irans Foreign Ministry said the message is based on establishing a “constructive interaction with other countries.” Afkham referred to President Rohani’s visit to New York, to attend the 68th session of the United Nations General Assembly, as “highly significant”, saying he is to deliver landmark speeches at the UNGA, the UN disarmament meeting and the ministerial meeting of the Non-Aligned Movement. “In his speeches, the President would discuss Tehran’s stance on major international developments including international peace and security and co-existence,” said the spokeswoman. She added that meeting with the US-based Iranians and holding separate meetings with heads of state from other countries are also on President Rohani’s agenda./end
