PRESIDENT KH.BATTULGA MEETS UK AMBASSADOR

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ President Kh.Battulga on Thursday met with Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Mongolia Catherine Arnold. 2018 will mark the 55th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and the UK. The President noted that the UK became the first western country to establish diplomatic relations with Mongolia in 1963. For her part, the Ambassador touched upon the interest UK companies show in investing in Mongolia, and bilateral cooperation opportunities in agriculture and tourism sectors, citing the UK's efforts to promote this potential. The Ambassador also talked about cooperation in innovation and green development spheres, and expressed appreciation towards Mongolia’s engagement in peacekeeping missions.
