US Adventurism In Iraq

Tehran, June 23, IRNA -- A plot by the US and its allies against Iraq and a string of contradictory remarks from US President Barack Obama about recent developments in the Arab country clearly indicates that Washington has started an adventurism that could cost it an arm and a leg.
Iran Dailyˈs Monday edition wrote the ongoing insurgency initiated by the so-called Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) shows the US miscalculations and that Washington this time will not be able to restore its lost influence in the region on top of a mountain of bodies of innocent Iraqis and through its new elements, and to stand by Israel and protect it.
The US has already used terrorist groups to extend its influence in the Middle East. It has trained the terrorists to carry out the most savage attacks in order to continue its hegemony on regional nations.
But this time things have gone out of control and the US is not able to make a comeback through deception.
A simple look at the gains of the Syrian army in its fight against foreign-backed militants helps get a better understanding of the quagmire the US has been plunged in. The gates of hell have been thrown open to Israel in the Golan Heights and the Lebanese border. Moreover, the course of developments in Palestine and the occupied territories is like a boiling pot that can burst anytime.
The situation in Iraq is just like the one in Syria. The people are vigilant and aware of the magnitude of plots against them. Tens of thousand of volunteers have taken up arms to help army prevent the ISIL from making further advances. Iraqi forces had previously fought US- and Israeli-backed mercenaries who did their best to foment sedition in Syria and Lebanon. But the terrorists have failed to notice that Iraq’s allies are ready to thwart anti-Baghdad plots as they did about Syria because they know that the fall of Baghdad is spelled as the fall of Damascus and Beirut.
Now following all incidents in Syria, who will trust the Zionist regime of America?
The US wants Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki to establish close ties with various groups and give them their share of power. Washington tries to play the same game in Iraq as it did in Syria. It regarded militants’ atrocities as a popular uprising and now refers to the bloodshed in Iraq as the revolution of the oppressed Sunnis.
Now how can we believe that the US will wage a war against the ISIL?/end
