Wounded Libyans arrive in Turkey for medical treatment

HATAY (A.A) - December 15, 2011 - Forty-five wounded Libyans arrived in the southern province of Hatay on Thursday to receive medical treatment. The wounded Libyans were accompanied by their relatives, and they will receive treatment at a private hospital in Hatay. The owner of the private hospital chartered a plane after he talked with executives of the National Transitional Council (NTC) and brought 45 Libyans to Hatay for treatment. "I was wounded in clashes three or four months ago, and was taken under treatment in Tripoli," one of the injured Libyans, Remzi Naif, told AA correspondent. Naif said hospitals served under inconvenient conditions due to clashes in Libya, and therefore his treatment could not be completed. "I will return to my country after my treatment, and I am happy to be here and I am glad that I will recover. Thank you Turkey," Naif said.
