Global Women Media Conference kicks off in Pakistan with IRNA presence

Islamabad, Dec 8, IRNA - First Ever Global Women in Media Conference has begun in Pakistan’s Karachi with the presence of representative from Iran’s official news agency IRNA. Pakistan Media Development Foundation has organized the four-day international moot in which representatives from 22 countries including Iran are taking part. Iran is being represented by women journalist Kubra Aghazari from the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA). She would also deliver a speech in the conference. Other women journalists from Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Canada, Denmark, France, Greece, India, Ireland, Kuwait, Malaysia, Nepal, Pakistan, Romania, Spain, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Sweden, Thailand, Turkey, UK and USA are also taking part. Earlier, the foreign delegates participating in the conference visited the mausoleum of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah to pay homage to the founder of Pakistan.
