The FM Arrives in Egypt On An Official Visit

Baghdad /NINA/ -Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs Fuad Hussein arrived in the Arab Republic of Egypt on Saturday evening for an official visit.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement: "Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs Fuad Hussein arrived in the Arab Republic of Egypt on an official visit during which he will hold talks with a number of Egyptian officials, most notably the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigration, Badr Abdel Ati."

The statement added, "The talks will address ways to strengthen bilateral relations between Iraq and Egypt in various fields, in addition to exchanging views on the most prominent regional and international developments, and ways to coordinate positions on issues of common interest."

The statement continued, "The visit comes within the framework of the two brotherly countries' keenness to enhance joint cooperation and activate political consultation mechanisms."/End
