Construction of Houses and Public Buildings Hastened in North Phyongan Province

 Pyongyang, May 26 (KCNA) -- North Phyongan Province in the DPRK is pushing ahead with the construction of rural houses and public buildings.
The province analyzed and reviewed in detail the experience and lessons gained in the course of the rural housing construction in the past and conducted a demonstration for strengthening the city and county construction brigades and a short course for construction supervisors.
Unsan County has completed the construction of small-storeyed dwelling houses under its charge by taking measures for supplying materials and equipment and is pushing ahead with the projects for landscaping, plastering with colorful mortar, rezoning the surrounding areas and constructing public and production buildings at the final stage.
Builders of Sonchon County is speeding up the construction of nurseries, kindergartens and public stables after completing the framework and roof covering of dwelling houses.
Builders of Thaechon and Changsong counties are making remarkable progress by strictly meeting the requirements of designs and steadily raising the level of specialization in all processes.
Similar successes are being made in Jongju City and Tongnim, Kwaksan, Kujang and Sakju counties. They are over-fulfilling their daily plans by concentrating force and means and raising the role of construction supervisors. -0-
