HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister meets with the King of Malaysia

Kuala Lumpur, May 27 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today met with His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar, the King of Malaysia.


 

The meeting took place on the sidelines of HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister’s official visit to Malaysia.


 

His Royal Highness affirmed that the continued strengthening and development of Bahrain-Malaysia relations reflects the steadfast support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar. This growing partnership continues to create new opportunities for bilateral cooperation and coordination between the two countries.


 

His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister conveyed the greetings of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar, along with His Majesty’s sincere wishes for continued success and prosperity for Malaysia.


 

The King of Malaysia also extended his greetings to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.


 

During the meeting, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa highlighted the strength of the longstanding bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and Malaysia, underscoring the importance of further enhancing cooperation that serves the mutual interests of both countries and their peoples.


 

His Royal Highness reiterated the Kingdom of Bahrain’s support for the joint efforts of the GCC countries and Malaysia to establish a free trade agreement. In this regard, HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad outlined that the agreement would mark a strategic milestone in strengthening economic cooperation between the GCC and Malaysia, contributing to increased trade and sustained economic growth.


 

His Excellency Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, the Minister of Finance and National Economy and His Highness Shaikh Abdullah bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Private Secretary to the Crown Prince, also attended the meeting.
