HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister meets with the Prime Minister of Cambodia

Kuala Lumpur, May 27 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today met with the Prime Minister of Kingdom of Cambodia, His Excellency Dr Hun Manet.

The meeting took place on the sidelines of HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister’s official visit to Malaysia.

His Royal Highness praised the longstanding relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and Cambodia, emphasising the importance of greater cooperation across various sectors to achieve shared aspirations and promote mutual prosperity.

The two sides discussed avenues to strengthen bilateral relations, with a focus on advancing future cooperation that supports the continued progress and development of both countries.

His Royal Highness underscored the importance of the second GCC-ASEAN Summit and the inaugural GCC-ASEAN-China Summit in enhancing the strategic partnership between participating countries. HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad emphasised the role of such forums in promoting the exchange of knowledge and expertise, strengthening regional cooperation, and supporting sustainable development.

The meeting also addressed the latest regional and international developments, as well as issues of common interest.
