Harvest of Wheat and Barley Begins in South Hwanghae Province of DPRK

 Pyongyang, June 12 (KCNA) -- Wheat and barley harvest has begun at the farms of South Hwanghae Province of the DPRK.
The farms in Jangyon County started the harvest first.
Myongchon and Paksan farms are expanding the harvest areas while rationalizing manpower allotment on the basis of the survey of the growth in each field and plot in conformity with the natural and geographical conditions of regions.
The officials of the Hakrim and Nulsan farms increase the enthusiasm of the farmers and scrupulously arrange harvest and thrashing to fulfill their daily plans.
Agricultural workers of the Chuhwa, Jukgye and Sokjang farms are harvesting wheat and barley meticulously.
The farms in  Kangryong and Ongjin counties are displaying their spirit from the beginning, while  setting the harvest period in accordance with the ripening ears of wheat and barley and taking measures to ensure the supply of the vehicles and drying equipment.
The helpers in the rural areas of the province are displaying their sense of responsibility in wheat and barley harvesting, transporting and threshing. -0-
