Bahraini, UAE ministers discuss advancing economic and trade cooperation

Manama, June 12 (BNA): Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, met Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Minister of State for Foreign Trade of the United Arab Emirates, during his visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The meeting was attended by Abdullah bin Adel Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Commerce; Fahad Mohammed Salem bin Kardous Al Ameri, UAE Ambassador to Bahrain; and a number of officials.

During the meeting, both sides reviewed Bahraini-UAE cooperation, particularly in the economic and financial domains, and discussed means to strengthen ties. Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa highlighted the importance of building on their joint achievements and continuing to advance economic integration for the benefit of both countries and their peoples.

He emphasised the deep rooted relations between Bahrain and the UAE, grounded in strong foundations of collaboration and mutual interests. He also noted the support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, in promoting ties across various domains.
