Ancestral Woodcraft Captivates Visitors at Hail Festival

Hail, July 17, 2025, SPA -- The wood carving pavilion at the Beit Hail Festival 2025 has attracted numerous visitors, showcasing traditional crafts that have been practiced by ancestors for generations.
Craftsman Saleh Al-Saeed has been practicing this art for 36 years, producing a variety of sculptures exhibited at various events across the Kingdom and internationally.
Al-Saeed stated he uses branches from tamarix and olive trees, utilizing chisels and other hand tools. The completion time for his sculptures ranges from three to thirty days, depending on their size, shape, and the type of wood used.
The Beit Hail Festival aims to immerse visitors in ancestral lifestyles, including food, clothing, housing, and daily life, while also featuring various folk performances and arts from the region and beyond.
