Tourism Ministry Launches New Service to Expand Makkah, Madinah Hospitality Capacity for Hajj Season

Riyadh, August 03, 2025, SPA -- The Ministry of Tourism has launched a new electronic service allowing hospitality facility operators in Makkah and Madinah to apply for an increase in bed capacity during the upcoming 1447 AH Hajj season, in accordance with approved procedures and regulations.
The ministry noted that the launch of this service is part of its ongoing efforts to develop digital services and streamline processes, thereby enhancing operational efficiency and supporting the sector’s readiness to provide the best possible services to pilgrims.
This initiative also aligns with the ministry’s early preparations for the 1447 AH Hajj season and expands its ongoing efforts to support the licensed hospitality sector and enhance the quality of services offered to pilgrims. The service provides a streamlined and effective digital solution, as the ministry seeks to leverage its electronic capabilities to ensure pilgrims’ comfort and enable them to perform their spiritual journey with ease and peace of mind.
