KSrelief’s Support Represents Around 60% of Total Aid to Sudan Delivered Through Partners, Says Sudanese Prime Minister

Riyadh, August 12, 2025, SPA -- Prime Minister of the Republic of Sudan Dr. Kamil El-Tayeb Idris expressed his gratitude and appreciation to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for their genuine stances and unlimited humanitarian support to the Sudanese people amid the circumstances facing his country.
He noted that this fraternal stance is a model to be emulated in Arab and Islamic solidarity and a testament to the principles of brotherhood and humanity.
He praised the efforts of Advisor to the Royal Court and General Supervisor of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Rabeeah and KSrelief’s continuous support to Sudan, exemplified through the relief sea bridge for medical assistance.
He noted that this included sending vital medical equipment and supplies, generators, and oxygen stations, as well as carrying out more than 40 medical camps that helped alleviate the suffering of thousands of patients and provide healthcare services to those in need.
Moreover, he indicated that the assistance provided by the Kingdom through KSrelief is an extension of a long-standing historical relationship, with KSrelief’s support accounting for around 60% of the total aid delivered to Sudan through partners during the initial period of the war.
