State Academy of Sciences Steps up Research Projects

 Pyongyang, August 18 (KCNA) -- The State Academy of Sciences in the DPRK is pushing ahead with its major research tasks for establishing the production and technical processes of the Wihwado Combined Greenhouse Farm.
The Modernization Institute has concentrated its efforts on establishing an intelligent integrated production system, thus manufacturing a number of devices.
The Electronic Institute has designed and manufactured a new type of nutrient solution feeder with high feeding speed and control accuracy to lay a foundation for a modern nutrient solution feed system. Scientists have developed a high-voltage power supply by plasma technology and are accelerating the manufacturing of devices for making nitric acid at the final stage in cooperation with research groups of the Physics Institute and the Catalyst Research Institute.
The Manufactory No. 111 finished the manufacturing of field environmental observation balloon and the Control Machine Institute has pushed ahead with the manufacturing of intelligent automobile weighing machine at the final stage.
Many research units are stepping up the work to ensure scientific accuracy, progressive nature and perfection in carrying out important research projects including establishing the process for producing carbonic acid gas and the solar energy generating system and manufacturing mobile planters. -0-
