Heritage Majlis Venues in Jubail Industrial City Draw Visitors, Preserve Traditions

Jubail, August 18, 2025, SPA -- Heritage majlis venues in Jubail Industrial City function as cultural and social hubs. Built in traditional style, they host events and draw heritage enthusiasts and tourist delegations, supporting heritage tourism in the city.
By recreating elements of Gulf heritage and hosting diverse cultural gatherings, these venues attract visitors from inside and outside Jubail.
The venues vary in style, including Majlis Al-Sharif, which holds cultural meetings and welcomes residents and visitors, and Majlis Al-Buwait, which houses about 3,500 "dallah" coffee pots of various sizes and types—some dating back 200 years—along with other artifacts.
These majlis spaces help preserve and showcase cultural heritage to new generations and visitors, and introduce Saudi hospitality customs such as serving Saudi coffee and dates and the traditional reception of guests.
