Saudi Media Academy Launches ‘Media Leaders’ Program in Switzerland

Switzerland, August 19, 2025, SPA -- The Saudi Media Academy of the Ministry of Media launched the first phase of the Media Leaders Track in Switzerland through an intensive training program in global event management. The program is being held in collaboration with EHL Hospitality Business School, ranked the world’s top university for hospitality management by the QS World University Rankings.
The launch was marked by the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between the academy and EHL, attended by Assistant Minister of Media and the academy’s board chairman Dr. Abdullah bin Ahmed Al-Maghlouth, along with other officials.
The agreement aims to foster international collaboration and build bridges of cultural and knowledge exchange with leading global academic institutions, aligning with the ministry’s vision to support and empower national talent in the media sector.
Academy Chief Executive Khalid Zain Al-Abdeen and EHL Associate Dean of Executive Education Programs Stéphane Haddad signed the MoU.
The training camp spans five days of intensive hands-on experience, featuring workshops led by international experts and site visits to world-class event institutions. The program focuses on skills in planning, organizing, and executing major events, as well as team leadership and creating effective audience engagement experiences.
The program represents the first practical phase of a four-stage training track, to be followed by a specialized digital advertising course in Riyadh, an international media camp in Singapore, and a final advanced course in leadership communication strategies.
The program targets professionals and creatives across various sectors, aiming to elevate effective media presence, enhance the management of national media events and major occasions, and strengthen Saudi Arabia’s representation in global forums, all in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
