Valkenswaard United Wins Global Champions League Title at Riyadh Finals

   Riyadh, October 31, 2025, SPA -- Saudi Arabian Equestrian Federation Board of Directors Chairman Prince Abdullah bin Fahd bin Abdullah crowned the Valkenswaard United team as the winner of the Global Champions League 5-star category during the Longines Global Champions Tour (LGCT) Final event held in Riyadh.
   The first day of the championship featured two rounds in the 2-star category, highlighted by the strong performance of Saudi riders who secured five top positions.
   The LGCT is considered one of the most prominent international equestrian championships. Its current season began in Doha in March, and the 2025 qualifiers passed through 15 cities in 12 countries across three continents, including Doha, Mexico City, Shanghai, Madrid, Cannes, Ramatuelle in Saint-Tropez, London, Valkenswaard, Riesenbeck, New York, Vienna, Rome, and Rabat. The total prize money for the tour exceeded €36 million (SAR 156.2 million).
