NBR wins Public Sector Cyber Vision Award at AICS 2025

Manama, Nov. 12 (BNA): The National Bureau for Revenue (NBR) has won the "Public Sector Cyber Vision" award at the cybersecurity awards ceremony, held on the sidelines of the third edition of the Arab International Cybersecurity Conference and Exhibition (AICS 2025).

The event was organised by the National Cybersecurity Centre in cooperation with the global DEF CON Conference, under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Prime Minister.

The recognition highlights NBR’s commitment to enhancing information protection and implementing international best practices in cybersecurity, ensuring data safety and privacy within an advanced digital environment.

Rana Ebrahim Faqihi, Chief Executive Officer of NBR, expressed pride in this achievement, noting that information security is a strategic priority for the bureau and a cornerstone of its digital transformation vision. She said the award reflects Bahrain’s continued progress in developing a secure, trusted, and resilient digital ecosystem, thanking all NBR teams for their dedication and proactive efforts in strengthening the bureau’s cybersecurity capabilities.
