Interior Minister condoles with Pakistan over victims of bombings

Manama, Nov. 13 (BNA): General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior, held a telephone call with Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi, Minister of Interior and Narcotics Control of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah expressed his condemnation of the two bombings that occurred in Pakistan, which resulted in the death and injury of innocent people. He extended condolences and sympathy to the government and people of Pakistan and to the families of the victims, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.

The Interior Minister expressed pride in the two countries’ commitment to enhancing security cooperation and coordination, reflecting their longstanding relations and shared efforts to address security challenges and rapid developments. He underlined the importance of further developing cooperation and supporting the work of the joint security committee.
