Dormitory of Hamhung University of Medicine Inaugurated in DPRK

 Pyongyang, February 1 (KCNA) -- A new dormitory has been built at Hamhung University of Medicine in the DPRK.
The dormitory, consisting of two blocks built in harmony with the university building, is furnished with bedrooms, study rooms and refectory so that students can put their heart and soul into their studies and scientific researches without any inconvenience.
Present at its inauguration ceremony held on January 30 were Pak Hyon Chol, chairman of the South Hamgyong Provincial People's Committee, officials concerned, builders and teaching staff and students of the university.
At the ceremony, a speaker called upon the university officials and teachers to steadily improve the contents, methods, condition and environment of education with the pride and honor of working at the glorious university associated with the leadership exploits of the Workers' Party of Korea and thus train the students to be competent talents who will shoulder the socialist healthcare system of our country.
After the ceremony the participants looked round various parts of the dormitory and enjoyed a congratulatory performance given by artistes of the provincial art troupe. -0-
