Soil Environment Monitoring System Established in DPRK

 Pyongyang, February 9 (KCNA) -- The Environmental Science and Technology Institute under the Ministry of Land and Environment Protection in the DPRK newly established a nationwide soil environment monitoring system, according to Rodong Sinmun.
The establishment of the system capable of surveying and grasping the soil environment quality conditions across the country and conducting scientific analysis, assessment and monitoring provides another scientific guarantee for protecting and managing the land resources of the country.
National certificate of sci-tech success was awarded to those who contributed to establishing the nationwide monitoring system. -0-
