Performances of Participants in People's Art Festival Given in DPRK
Pyongyang, February 17 (KCNA) -- Performances of participants in the Third People's Art Festival were given in different parts of the country on Monday to celebrate the 84th birth anniversary of Chairman Kim Jong Il.
Among the audience were Choe Tong Myong, secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, and other senior Party and government officials, officials, and working people, youth and students in the relevant areas.
Put on the stages were colorful numbers singing of the boundless glory and happiness of the people blessed with illustrious leaders generation after generation.
The famous songs dealing with the eternal spring of February as well as the historic native house of the revolution in the Sobaeksu Valley covered with snow added to ardent yearning for Kim Jong Il among the audience.
A male trio and pangchang and an Oungum ensemble and pangchang "His Humanity" resounded far and wide, reflecting deep reverence for the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who is glorifying the DPRK as the strongest and dignified power and as an ideal country for the people, true to the desire of Kim Jong Il.
