Pak will try to sabotage normalcy in J-K: Army
KASHMIR-ARMY
Udhampur (J-K), Jan 15 (PTI) Apprehending Fidayeen
(Suicide) attacks in near future in Jammu and Kashmir, the
Indian Army Friday said Pakistan will try to sabotage peace
and normalcy in the state.
"Pakistan will not be happy with improving peace
situation in Jammu and Kashmir. It will try to sabotage the
normalcy in the state," General Officer Commanding in Chief
(GOC-In-C), Northern Command, Lt Gen B S Jaswal told reporters
soon after attending the ceremony for presentation of
gallantry and distinguished service awards at Dhruva
auditorium here Friday.
They will try to scuttle the peace process which is
going on in Jammu and Kashmir, he said adding this year is
very crucial for return of peace and normalcy in J-K.
"There are also reports of Fidayeen attacks in near
future because Pakistan will try and sabotage normalcy," he
said adding "that is the reason I suspect some additional
attacks like the one in Lal Chowk in Srinagar".
Expressing confidence in its forces in preventing
terrorism, he said "Army is fully prepared to take care of all
such attacks or challenges in future". MORE PTI AB
