Sports Pakistan safe place for int'l cricket: President ICC
Rawalpindi, June 20 PPI: Visiting President of International Cricket Council Ray Mali says since Pakistan possesses ``a safe, secure atmosphere for international cricket, all teams due to participate in ICC Champions Trophy in September next in the country must visit.
``Pakistan is in best position to arrange Champions Trophy and preparations for the
event are in closing stage,'' Mali said while seeing measures taken for matches at
Pindi Cricket Stadium. ``I am amazed seeing Pindi Cricket Stadium which can provide
international dtandards.''
ICC President said he will prepare report on the cricketing atmosphere in Pakistan
for which he was visiting the country.
