Emirati-Swiss discussions on visa exception

Berne - Feb 3, 2010 (WAM)- Ending a two-day meeting the UAE delegation and the Swiss Confederation initialled a draft agreement of mutual exemption of visa for holders of diplomatic and private passports between the two countries. Assistant to Foreign Minister for Legal Affairs and International Organisations Dr Abdul Rahim Yousef Al Awadi headed the UAE side in the discussions while the Swiss side was headed by the deputy director of the international conventions at the Swiss Federal ministry of Immigration. The agreement is expected to be signed soon.
