Moily was replying to a question as to when the
Constitution (108th Amendment) bill would be tabled in the Lok
Sabha.
Parliament is scheduled to adjourn for a recess on
March 16 before it reconvenes for the rest of the budget
session in early April.
Parliamentary Affairs Minister P K Bansal said he
could not not say when the bill would be taken but "it is a
possibility" before the budgetary process.
Asked whether the government has managed to convince
allies, apparently Trinamool Congress which has some
reservations, Moily said "it is a family matter, we will
manage it".
Moily said the government has some other agenda to
take up like the Finance bill and some legislations to replace
ordinances that needed to be taken up urgently.
On the other side, SP chief Mulayam Singh Yadav and
RJD chief Lalu Prasad told reporters separately that as of now
now they were not not considering bringing a no-confidence
motion against the government in the Lok Sabha as they did not
not have numbers. (More) PTI NAB
