Medvedev visits museum dedicated to first Turkmen president.
ASHGABAT, July 5 (Itar-Tass) - Russian President Dmitry Medvedev went
on a sightseeing tour in the Turkmen capital on Friday.
The Russian leader went to the Monument of Independence. After that Medvedev visited the museum dedicated to the first president of
independent Turkmenistan, Saparmurat Niyazov, as well as the mosque of
spirituality called Turkmenbashi.
The Russian president will round off his visit to Turkmenistan on
Saturday.
On July 5, Medvedev will arrive in Kazakhstan to attend the
celebrations on the anniversary of the Kazakh capital - Astana and the
birthday celebrations of Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev.
