PRESIDENT BACK IN JAKARTA

Jakarta, July 11 (ANTARA) - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono Thursday at 9.30 p.m arrived at Halim Perdanakusumah airbase following official visits to Malaysia and Japan since Sunday (July 6).

The President was greeted by Vice President Jusuf Kalla and his wife, Minister/State Secretary Hatta Radjasa, Jakarta Deputy Governor Prijanto and some other high-ranking government officials.

The President and an entourage left New Chitos Sapporo airport, Hokkaido, at 4 p.m local time, or 2 p.m in Jakarta, by Airbus 300-330 Presidential Plane GA 001.

In his visit to Malaysia, the President attended the D-8 summit and dedicated the Indonesia-Malaysia experts group along with Malaysian Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi.

While in Japan, he attended an Outreach G-8 summit, and met with his counterparts from other countries including Japanese Prime Minister Yasuko Fukuda, South Korean President Lee Myung Bak, UN Secretary General Ban Ki Moon and Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd.

From Halim Perdanakusumah airport, the President and entourage proceeded straight to the Presidential Palace.
