Italian President awards Emirati businessman with "Order of the Star of Italian Solidarity"

Abu Dhabi, June 10, 2010 (WAM)- Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, attended the ceremony hosted by Paolo Dionisi, Italian Ambassador in honour of Emirati businessman Obeid Saleh Al Nuaimi, with "Order of the Star of Italian Solidarity" medal by the Italian President Giorgio Napolitano, in recognition of his contribution to support and strengthen relations between UAE and Italy in economic and trade fields.
The Italian Ambassador awarded Al Nuaimi during a ceremony held at Park Rotana Hotel in Abu Dhabi yesterday evening in the presence of senior officials and the media.

For his part, Al Nuaimi expressed his thanks and pride of being awarded with "Order of the Star of Italian Solidarity" by His Excellency the President of Italy, and said that this honour is a message of love, appreciation and friendship from the President, Government and people of Italy to the UAE and its nation. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
