US Embassy in Azerbaijan launches tree planting drive in Baku SOS Children Village

Baku, November 1 (AzerTAc). A tree planting drive was co-organized here at the Sos Children Village by the US Embassy in Azerbaijan, Peace Corps volunteers and US-Azerbaijan Chamber of Commerce (USACC).
Chamber`s executive director Nargiz Nasrullayeva said about 300 decorative and fruit samplings had been bought.
The aim of the campaign is to expand green area in the capital and whole the country as part of Year of Ecology.
About major 12 companies in Azerbaijan financed the campaign.
