CIS observation mission issues regular report on parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan
Baku, November 5 (AzerTAc). The CIS observation mission has issued a regular report on the parliamentary elections to be held this Sunday in Azerbaijan.
The report features information on a number of issues related to the elections, including long-term observers` meetings held in Baku, their participation in the gatherings of the Central Election Commission, installation of web cameras in 500 polling stations throughout the country, enabling the public to follow proceedings on the Internet.
The mission praises the fact that equal opportunities had been created for candidates to conduct agitation campaign. According to the report, all candidates have been provided with four minutes of free airtime on the Public TV to present their messages to voters.
The document also says candidates and political parties hold meetings with their voters and participate in teledebates.
