Azerbaijan`s Central Election Commission chief meets TurkPA observers
Baku, November 6 (AzerTAc). Chairman of Azerbaijan`s Central Election Commission (CEC) Mazahir Panahov has today met a delegation of election observers from the Parliamentary Assembly of the Turkic Speaking countries.
The delegation is led by Sariaslan Kursad Melih.
Panahov gave full information on Azerbaijan`s electoral system, the activity of election institutions and preparation for the upcoming parliamentary elections.
“All polling stations are ready for the elections. The electoral procedures and video clips calling to elections are being broadcast on TV channels across the country.”
“Up to now, 48,000 observers have been registered, and web-cameras have been installed in 500 polling stations,” said Panahov.
