Faculty of Azerbaijani history launched in Humboldt- Berlin University
Baku, November 11 (AzerTAc). A faculty of Azerbaijani history was opened in Humboldt- Berlin University, in Germany, Azerbaijan`s Foreign Ministry said.
The agreement on faculty opening has been achieved by former rector of the University Christophe Mercies and Azeri Ambassador to Germany Parviz Shahbazov in December 2009.
The aim of the faculty is to analyze and teach Azerbaijani history, conduct scientific events, exchange of students and teachers, publish the magazines and establish library.
A week of science and culture of Azerbaijan will be also held in the University from November 29 to December 2.
